Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 2026-07-02

1. Information We Process

SlideRebuild processes content you provide, including uploaded images, PDF files, extracted pages, detected text, layout information, reconstructed slide elements, and generated PowerPoint files. We may also collect limited technical information such as device type, browser information, IP address, conversion status, error logs, and usage data to keep the service reliable and secure.

2. How We Use Your Content

Uploaded images and PDFs are processed to rebuild them into editable PowerPoint files. This may include detecting text, identifying page or slide structure, reconstructing text boxes, shapes, images, colors, and layout layers, and generating a downloadable PPTX file. We do not claim ownership of your content, and your files are used only to provide, maintain, and improve the requested conversion functionality.

3. Uploaded Files and Generated Output

Your uploaded files and generated PowerPoint files may be temporarily stored so the service can process your conversion, provide download access, troubleshoot failed conversions, prevent abuse, and maintain service quality. We do not sell your uploaded files or generated output. We also do not use your private files to train AI models unless you have clearly given us permission to do so.

4. Storage and Retention

We retain uploaded images, PDFs, extracted page data, reconstruction results, and generated PPTX files only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, support downloads, debug errors, comply with legal obligations, or prevent abuse. You may request deletion of your content at any time, and we will remove it from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to backups, security logs, and legal requirements.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may rely on trusted third-party providers for cloud hosting, file storage, AI processing, OCR, analytics, email delivery, payments, and other infrastructure needed to operate SlideRebuild. These providers may process your data only as necessary to deliver their services to us and are not permitted to use your content for their own independent purposes.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures may include encrypted connections, access controls, limited retention, and restricted operational access. However, no online service, storage system, or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. You may also request that we delete uploaded files or generated output associated with your use of the service. If you would like to exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use SlideRebuild, measure performance, remember preferences, prevent abuse, and improve the user experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly without them.

9. Children's Privacy

SlideRebuild is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our service, legal requirements, or operational practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of SlideRebuild after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
